大塘村是大站镇西南面的行政村，距镇政府约5公里，村委会设在杨万里大道旁。村名来自驻地附近的一片低洼地，雨季积水成塘。蔬菜是村里的主要作物之一，村内辖19条自然村。[1]

近年事务[edit]

2023年，大塘村委试点种植脱毒红薯苗，品种名为「西瓜红」，面积400亩，带动周边160多户农户增收。同年，大塘与侧塘两村引进社会资本，盘活了停办小学的资产。[2]

2026年8月，大站镇大塘村举办了第八届圆梦基金奖学助学金颁奖典礼。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，大塘村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2023年5月，围干下、鱼一、鱼二、鱼三等村民小组获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
