历史沿革[edit]

该村所在地1940年设保，之后经乡政府、生产大队、管理区等建制，1999年3月定为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

2019年，大塘田园综合体的年度计划投资为1695万元，当年1月至11月已投入799.5万元；同年，大塘街的市政工程与外立面改造完工。[2]

2021年9月，大塘以柑桔列入第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，省乡村振兴部门把大塘村定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」的创建单位。[1]

2026年1月，大塘村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
