新屋村是肇庆市四会市江谷镇下辖的行政村，在镇中部，省道四清公路旁，城乡分类为镇乡结合区[1]。村内的曾公祠是前锋村武工队战斗旧址所在[2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

1951年曾称江荣小乡，1959年2月改为新屋大队，1985年改称新屋管理区，1998年设村民委员会。2004年，水库村民委员会并入新屋村民委员会，名称沿用至今[1]。1998年改设时，因办事处位于新屋村而取名新屋[1]。

地理与经济[edit]

村域面积8.6平方公里，下设29个村民小组，人口3077人（资料未注明年份）。村内种水稻、香蕉和花卉，有一处花卉和香蕉种植基地；手工业以鞋类加工为主[1]。2021年9月，村以澳洲淡水小龙虾入选第二批「广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2024年4月，列入「广东省乡村振兴示范村」第一批创建名单[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

前锋村武工队战斗旧址在村委会辖下前锋村的曾公祠内。祠始建于民国时期，2000年重修，三间二进，建筑占地258平方米，墙楣有20多幅彩绘壁画[2]。1947年6月19日傍晚，江金武工队（常在五指山、江谷长坪、十二带一带活动）袭击了地主自卫武装把守的“蛇窿”粮仓，拿到稻谷500多担[2][3]。四会市人民政府在2012年3月将它公布为「一般不可移动文物」，别名蛇窿粮仓偷袭战旧址；祠堂在2023年重新利用，成了讲述本村发展历程的新屋村史馆[3]。
