历史沿革[edit]
1958年设下黄大队，1983年改设下黄乡政府，1987年设村委会，1989年改称管理区，1998年恢复为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网的村情介绍（多为2009年前后的数据）：土地共13455亩，水田650亩，旱地680亩，林地12510亩；9个村小组、248户、930人，外出务工约300人，人均收入2650元。村内有学校和卫生站各一所，各自然村通公路，村通镇公路已硬化。[1]
乐昌市融媒体中心2026年7月报道，村内的乡村振兴车间经营者是广东金赞智慧科技公司，加工无线充线圈等元器件，有员工30多名，实行计件薪酬，让留守妇女和中老年村民就近就业。[2]
