大滩村是封开县都平镇的行政村，位于贺江中下游，村民分散居住在贺江两岸[1]。
地名由来与沿革[edit]
土改后设大滩分，1957年拆为大滩、勤塘、龙窟三社，三社1961年各为大队，1963年重新合并，取驻地大滩村为名。1987年改设村委会，依据广东省人民政府《关于各乡、镇设立村（居）民委员会的通知》（封府〔1987〕16号）[1]。
