历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网载，1950年代新屋属水潭小乡、水潭大队，1961年归那罗小公社管辖，1964年成为新屋大队。1978年分为新屋、冼村两个大队，1982年合并；1983年改称新屋乡，1989年改称管区，1999年起为新屋村民委员会[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，新屋村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2021年1月，入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」名单；2023年11月，入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」[1]。
