岗美村是四会市大沙镇的行政村，在西江、北江、绥江交汇处，省道四连线穿过全村。村名原作“岗尾”，因村在龙头岗的尾部。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年这里隶属安平乡；1961年安平分出安一、安二两个大队，岗美归安二大队；1987年单设岗美管理区，1998年成立村民委员会。[1]
概况[edit]
博雅地名网的介绍（约在2008年前后）记村民3263人，村域4平方公里，分16个村民小组；种水稻450亩，养鱼3000亩，有工业企业30多家。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年4月，该村在「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单中；2025年3月被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」；2026年1月被评为「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
