历史沿革[edit]
荷木村委会于1984年由赛洞、莫坑合并而成；1990年称荷木管理区，1992年赛洞、莫坑又各自分出；1998年成为荷木村民委员会，莫坑在2004年重新并入，沿用至今。[1]
经济与文化[edit]
荷木村厨师众多，足迹遍及全国40多个大中城市，被称作「厨师村」；在第二届「广东十大美丽乡村」系列评选中，被评为「广东粤菜师傅名村」。[1]2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
