新田村是陆河县新田镇的行政村，位于镇中部、圩镇中心一带，辖7个自然村，是镇内人口较多的村之一。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名随驻地新田圩而来。[2] 博雅地名网整理的沿革是：新中国成立前属第十三区新安乡，之后归陆丰县大安区；1957年冬撤区并乡，设新田大队；1958年并入河口公社，1962年另设新田公社，1964年再并入河口公社，1966年又分出；1986年改称新田村委会。[2]

镇政府村情页载，全村总土地5120亩，水田占960亩，旱地1072亩，另有山地3088亩，下辖高田、新丰、老圩（上、下）、大埔、丰山、汤子寨等7个自然村，户籍人口5036人、1006户，常住人口3680人。[1] 博雅地名网的较早介绍称约860多户、3960人。[2]

2026年1月，新田村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2] 镇上的新田公园建在村内丰山村的炮台凸。[3]
