联新村在陆河县新田镇东南部，距镇政府约5公里，与联安、横陇、麻地三村相邻，总面积10.01平方千米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网载，明万历年间（1573—1620年）蓝姓迁来定居，后有温、肖、贝、范、练、罗等姓迁入。[2] 联新原属联安大队，1974年划出，另设联新大队；1986年称联新村委会，1999年改称联新村民委员会。[2]
基本情况[edit]
村里耕地1565亩（水田1245亩），山地约14000亩。[1] 村民成立了专业合作社，种植火龙果；2020年8月联新村以火龙果列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，2019年9月又入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1][2] 元升樱花生态园位于联新与联安两村交界处。[3]
