桥头村隶属广东省广州市从化区鳌头镇，为镇辖行政村，村委会设在镇域中部。[1] 全村面积约3平方公里，村民小组共11个，村委会介绍的总人口为1553人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约17公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约1公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，桥头原属黄罗大队，1965年因黄罗大队辖区太大，分成三个大队，桥头为其一；1983年12月归黄罗乡，1987年1月分设，称桥头村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2023年8月，桥头村获评「2022年度“广州市美丽乡村”」称号。[1]
  • 2024年11月，桥头村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1] 村集体经济方面，村集体增收靠引进的华强食品厂项目和恒业制衣厂两个项目。[1]

文化[edit]

桥头村以武术和醒狮见称，素有「武术之乡」的说法。镇的介绍称，清末民初佛山的狮艺传入桥头，醒狮在鳌头广为流传；每逢春节，村里有武术和醒狮表演。1946年鳌头醒狮队成立，专门教授拳术和舞狮。鳌头醒狮在2011年入选广州市第三批非物质文化遗产名录，2015年升入省级名录。[2]
