历史沿革[edit]
琴星最初并在莲塘生产大队里，到1972年才从莲塘分出，自成琴星大队，此前的1958年已并入。1983年撤销大队设琴星乡，1987年改管理区，1999年成立村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
「无讼」试点中，村里成立了由党支部书记任主任的村级调解委员会，龙窝法庭和龙窝司法所的挂点干部及村里的「五老」人员参加。2022年6月，调解委员会用三天时间促成双方了结一宗拖了三年多的土地纠纷。[2] 2019年9月，琴星村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
