据博雅地名网，1959年人民公社成立后，白石与遇新大队合并；1983年12月归入人和乡，1987年1月分设，称白石村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2021年12月，白石村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]
  • 2024年11月，白石村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

村里的农业格局为：山地栽种荔枝、龙眼和黄皮，水田种水稻、蔬菜、花生和瓜类，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1]
