湖边村是广东省茂名市化州市江湖镇下辖的行政村，在镇的南边，设17个村民小组，在册796户、4058人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年成立江湖人民公社，湖边称湖边大队。[1]
经济[edit]
全村耕地1457亩，主要作物有水稻、玉米、蕃薯、花生、甘蔗、香蕉薯；特色收入来自养鱼、养猪、种玉米和香蕉。上一年农村经济总收入472万元。[1]二十四岭水库在村内，是江湖镇第二大水库，周边有橡胶林、经济林和亚热带水果基地；村里逐步形成种桑养蚕、玉米、香蕉和鱼、猪、鸡、鸭的养殖种植格局。罗江绕村而过，河沙资源较好，2008年一家砂砖厂建成投产，日产十万块砂砖。[2]
