据博雅地名网，1958年建立月荣大队，到1983年12月改设为乡时归入官庄乡，到1987年1月分出后改名月荣村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2024年11月，月荣村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
  • 2025年6月，月荣村被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]
  • 2026年1月，月荣村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
