横岭村是广州市从化区鳌头镇下辖的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1958年建立横岭大队，到1983年12月改设为横岭乡，到1987年1月改名横岭村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，横岭村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2023年8月，横岭村获评「2022年度“广州市美丽乡村”」称号。[1]
  • 2024年11月，横岭村被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的大塘尾教堂、第六社谢氏宗祠，共2处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[2]
