据博雅地名网，1958年建立官庄大队，到1983年12月改设为官庄乡，到1987年1月改名官庄村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2019年9月，官庄村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2025年6月，官庄村被认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」。[1]
  • 2026年1月，官庄村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]

村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1] 村集体经济方面，村集体增收靠引进的马蹄种植项目。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

官庄村的崇本学堂被列入从化区文物保护单位。[2]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的陈氏宗祠、瓦联队炮楼，共2处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[3]
