大垌村是信宜市思贺镇辖下的行政村，在镇域中北部，村域18.4平方公里、耕地2222.25亩，分15个村民小组[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期归大垌甲，建国前夕成立大垌乡人民政府，1955年入初级社，1961年起为大垌大队；1983年改设乡政府，1987年起为村民委员会，1991年一度叫管理区办事处，1999年复称大垌村民委员会并沿用至今[1]。
名称由来[edit]
明朝初期，汉人迁来聚居，开垦水田，见这里地势平坦，有130多亩水田，两条小河在合水口汇合、水源足，又是全思贺最宽阔的一片垌，故名大垌[2]。
