梧村垌村是广东省湛江市廉江市吉水镇下辖的行政村，区划代码440881103211。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：先祖建村时，山边长着梧桐树，起名“梧村村”；后来依刘姓各村多带“垌”字的习惯，改作“梧村垌”。[1]
建制沿革：土地改革后设梧村垌乡政府；1958年为大队；1984年恢复乡政府，1987年设管理区，1999年起为村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，主导产品荔枝（2021年9月公布）；2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年9月公布）。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村里的起义旧址原是刘氏宗祠，建筑为两进的四合院，砖木结构硬山顶，占地800米、建筑面积500平方米（据所引资料），1927年7月27日，中共廉江县支部遵照南路特委发动秋收暴动的部署，由周永杰、梁安成、罗自琦、刘邦武等率300多名农民自卫军在此起事，并宣告两个革命机构成立；两天后与前来围剿的军警交战，十人牺牲，7月31日队伍退往西莲塘村和燕山村，起义失败。该旧址于1981年被廉江县人民政府列为文物保护单位。[2][3]
