历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，铺锦大队建立于1958年，1963年与高禾大队合并为锦禾大队，1980年再分开，仍叫铺锦大队；1983年12月两地又合并，改设锦禾乡；1987年12月分出后，改名铺锦村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。^[1]

村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。^[1]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的传统民居群、瓇峰书舍、镇存李公祠，共3处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。^[2]
