新田村是广东省清远市英德市九龙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇中北部，在圩镇东侧，距圩镇约1公里。耕地多为石灰岩洞田，水稻是传统作物，近年也种植蔬菜和砂糖橘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年此地设新田乡，1958年成为新田大队，1983年转为新田乡政府，1986年起称新田村委会，1990年变为新田管理区，直到1998年10月7日才重新设立村委会，此后延续至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域丘陵与石灰岩山相互交错，以丘陵为主。耕地多为石灰岩洞田，俗称“浅脚田”，土地肥沃，适宜种植水稻、玉米和蔬菜。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村总人口4730人，耕地面积2992亩，年份未注明。村域下辖16个自然村。[1]

经济[edit]

村民顺应市场，转向种植收益较高的蔬菜和砂糖橘，走“三高”农业的路子。村子在镇里属于产粮较多的村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予下门楼村、正寨村和周屋村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
