新田村是广东省河源市龙川县新田镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名与镇名同出一源，“新田”即新开辟的田地。解放初属新田乡，1957年设新田管理区，辖新田、东坑两村。[1]

1958年改设新田大队，1983年复为新田乡，辖东坑、新田两村。1986年改为村委会；1990年设新田管理区，1999年再设村委会。2004年，龙川县人民政府批准东坑村委会并入新田村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年4月，新田村获评「2020年度龙川县文明村镇」。2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
