中村位于大埔县大麻镇境内，属英雅片，在梅州市、广东省的行政区划中是大麻镇所辖的一个村。村落位于阴那坑溪流的中段，故称中村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属三河新寨社的阴那坑村，清代属三河社阴那坑村。2003年7月英雅镇并入大麻镇后，随之划归大麻镇，此前1998年改设村民委员会，1988年改称管理区，1986年冬起属英雅乡中村村委会，1983年12月为英雅区中村乡，1961年设英雅公社中村生产大队，1958年人民公社化时成为三河公社的英雅生产大队，1957年1月为英雅乡的英雅小乡（俗称英南乡），民国属三河区英雅乡。[2]
