长沙村在马宫街道东侧，地处长沙湾出海口，厦深铁路和深汕高速公路都从村里经过，高速公路在这里设有出入口。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国之初称长新乡，在红草区内。公社化后立长沙大队，归马宫公社；1989年成为管理区，1999年起设村民委员会，隶属马宫街道。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村域3平方公里，下辖3个村民小组、7个自然村，博雅地名网记有828户、3820人。村里把长沙湾养殖作为主业，养殖面积1510.5亩，主要养牡蛎和对虾，并引进长沙湾度假酒店等企业。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

村被评为“文明单位”“生态文明村”，也获国家绿委会评定的“绿化千佳村”。2022年1月，省乡村振兴局把它定为乡村治理示范村创建单位（2021年度）；2024年4月，它又进了省首批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

长沙炮台旧址又名镇海城，在村西侧、丽江（长沙湾）出海口。据百度百科，现址为明代迁建，清嘉庆九年（1804年）海丰知县张再瑛委人督造；城廓为不规则的椭圆，占地约2000平方米。2005年定为区级、2011年定为市级文物保护单位，修复后于2022年公布为省级文物保护单位。[3]
