中社村是丰顺县小胜镇辖下的行政村，坐落在镇域北部。全村分21个村民小组，面积8平方千米，耕地805亩；据博雅地名网，村中有403户、2171人在册。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
地名由来：中村与社背是这里的两个主村，1950年各取其首字，合成「中社」作为统一的名称。[2]
1950年隶属砂胜区小胜乡；1952年改入潭江区，设中社乡；1955年并入小胜乡，1957年入小胜高级社，1958年随潭江公社。1961年起为小胜公社的中社大队。1983年复为中社乡，1992年设管理区，后改村委会，1999年起称村民委员会。[3]
