新塘村是广东省江门市台山市水步镇东部的一个行政村，地处江门产业转移园的东组团，面积约6平方千米，分为11个村民小组。据镇政府2026年公布的资料，全村490户、1750人。[1] 水步镇的土产如新塘红茶、葛粉、白菜干、猪仔薯和鸡爪芋，主要出自这里。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子西边靠近工业新城，南边靠近台城的南坑，东边靠近四九镇的五十。境内有鱼塘1300亩、耕地2000亩和山林4800亩，水源充足，便于灌溉。[1]

经济[edit]

除了种植上述特色农产品，村民还在一千多亩淡水塘里养鱼。多数鱼塘已不再养传统的「四大家鱼」，改养价格较高的桂花鱼。[1]
