历史沿革[edit]
南宋咸淳二年（1266年），李姓先祖从南雄迁到禄洞定居，后来一支分出，在此建村。[1] 村后丘陵连绵，起伏如龙，村名据地貌而取。[1] 1958年称龙溪大队，1983年称龙溪乡，1986年称龙溪管理区。[1]
经济[edit]
2009年有人口1697人，耕地78公顷、山地107公顷，以水稻为主，兼种蔬菜和粉葛；辖内有十字坑水库。[1] 1995年中、澳、美三方商人合资办起美德洲农场，经营种植、养殖和渔业一体的高产高效农业。[1] 村里有制伞、五金、化工、酒厂等10多家私营企业，华侨及港澳同胞1258人，建有拱北小学。[1] 2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
