历史沿革[edit]
民国后期属塘甲乡；1952年属化县七区的长岭乡；1958年属长岭大队；1963年体制下放，改称高平大队。此后名称依次是：高红乡（1983年）、高红村民委员会（1987年）、管理区办事处（1989年），1999年起村民委员会之名沿用下来。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
村委会自述（未注年份）：全村面积4.7平方公里，耕地约1250亩，主要经济作物为蚕桑，上一年农村经济总收入2500万元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年12月，入选国家林业和草原局公布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
