历史沿革[edit]
新塘民国时期至解放初属榕树乡，后转归新安乡。1958年编入新安公社，名新塘大队；1983年改叫新塘乡并隶区公所，1987年起设村民委员会，1989年再改设管理区办事处[1]。
经济[edit]
村里的主要作物是水稻，特色收入来自香蕉、甘蔗、黄皮；该网所列上一年「农村经济总收入」为2315万元（年份未注明）[1]。
荣誉[edit]
- 2025年5月，新塘村入选「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区创建名单」[1]。
