历史沿革[edit]
新塘乡1953年成立；1958年改新塘大队，曾分出企岭，1963年又合并。1983年与竹围大队合成新塘乡，1987年拆为竹围、新塘、企岭三个村委会，1998年起称新塘村民委员会。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村里有酒厂、木业公司和医疗器械企业，村民进厂务工，另有鱼塘养殖，山林发包也有收入。[1]
