书村村在螺溪镇北部，与五华、揭西、紫金三县交界，是镇内村域较大的村，辖区有李花基地和旱硿奇观。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1975年至1978年分设书村、新塘两个大队，后又合并；1986年称书村村民委员会，1990年为书村管理区，1999年定名书村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]
地理与人口[edit]
村域15.17平方千米，辖坪上、到流、新口、新塘、石下、书田、油坑7个自然村，1050多户，户籍人口4810多人，距镇政府6.5公里。[1]
名胜[edit]
旱硿在书田自然村，螺河书村支流的水到此潜入河床，只闻水声不见水流，河床宽约250米，乱石遍布。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村里流转土地种油柑、中药材并发展乡村旅游，2021年村集体经济收入11万多元；省级的卫生村、民主法治村和汕尾市的文明村称号，它都有。[1]
