历史沿革[edit]
新塘在1952年立乡，1958年成为新塘大队。南河大队曾于1963年由新塘大队划出，1983年二者复合，下坡、姓关两村一并归入，设新塘乡。1987年改村委会，1989年改管理区，1999年8月成立村民委员会。[1]
