新塘村是韶关市曲江区罗坑镇的行政村，位于镇北面，村口新挖了一口水塘，得名新塘，解放前称塘底角[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1951年5月设仙塘村政府，属第六区；1952年3月改仙塘乡政府，属樟市区；1961年3月改新塘大队，属樟市公社；1983年11月改新塘乡政府；1986年12月改村委会，1989年改管理区，1998年12月复称村委会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
村内总人口2881人、750户，耕地3477亩，以水稻、花生为主，土特产有生姜、蕃薯干、罗坑胡须鸡[1]。2019年9月，新塘村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2020年8月入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（茶叶）[1]。
