历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村址一带的地形像一只“彭盘”，起初叫彭盘，后来按谐音写成古泮。[1]
古泮村民委员会的现名定于1999年。此前，这里在民国时期属大胜乡；1952年与燕水合设古燕乡；1955年组成古泮高级社，1959年冬改设生产大队；1983年起称乡人民政府，1987年设村民委员会，1989年冬又设管理区办事处。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要种植水稻、马铃薯、蕃薯、木薯；特色收入来源有养殖三黄鸡[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将古泮村列入「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
