新塘村是惠州市惠阳区秋长街道所辖的行政村，据称因地势低洼、易积水如同池塘而得名[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
新塘大队设于1958年。1979年，它和西湖大队并作一乡，叫西新乡，到1985年才又各自分出，新塘仍称大队。此后名称依次变为管理区（1988年）和村民委员会（1999年），一直用到现在[1]。
经济[edit]
新塘村在2020年至2022年间连续列入淘宝村名单[1]。
