新塘村是惠阳区良井镇的行政村，原属惠阳县马安乡的白龙塘，后分为新塘和龙塘两处。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
相传宋代有江西庐陵县富田乡人迁此定居。二十年代归惠阳县第十区的良井乡。1984年设新塘乡；1986年8月撤乡设村；自1989年11月起称管理区，持续到1994年；1999年5月才设立新塘村民委员会。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，新塘村被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
