历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，两堡村地处百足山下，清代属平康都；民国时曾设两堡乡，1961年并入赤坎公社，1999年起改为村民委员会建制。[2]
地理环境[edit]
两堡村靠着赤坎镇的江南公路，村域面积4平方公里，耕地2200亩。百度百科另记有山地5000亩、鱼塘200余亩。[1][2]
人口[edit]
2016年公布的人口为2700人，下辖自然村21条；百度百科称旅居海外的华侨约3000人。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村集体的主要收入是厂房、学校和铺位出租；农业以水稻为主，兼营养鸡和养猪。[1]
