新塘村是广东省梅州市梅江区三角镇下辖的行政村，位于镇中部，距梅州城区约5公里，属城乡结合区。村名因相对旧塘而得。[1]下设10个村民小组，在册373户、1619人（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份），全村面积1.1平方千米，耕地约120亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1965年以前属坜明大队；该年分出，设新塘大队，归梅江公社。[1]1983年称新塘乡，属梅江区；1988年改村委会，归三角镇；1989年称新塘管理区；1998年起为新塘村村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种水果、蔬菜、花生、玉米，并有水产养殖；据博雅地名网，村上一年农村经济总收入为4210万元。[1]村办公大楼加建至七层后出租十八套房，为集体每年增收6万多元。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
剑英公园坐落在新塘一带，1986年动工建设。[2]
