新塘社区在数据中属广东省深圳市南山区沙河街道，指沙河五村之一的新塘村，清代称莘塘村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，这一带属新安县典史管属地，已有莘塘村，即今日的新塘。[1]1959年11月，国营沙河农场成立，新塘与上白石、下白石、白石洲三村，合约350户1500人并入农场，各村单独编队。[1]

经济[edit]

新塘与上白石、下白石、塘头四村位于深南大道以北，通称白石洲北区，纳入白石洲城市更新项目的范围。[2]
