新田村是福建省龙岩市新罗区江山镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部，在梅花山国家自然保护区南麓，海拔约1000米。[1]

地理环境[edit]

新田村属亚热带季风性气候，村子在天宫山的北面，是龙岩中心城市的第二水源集雨区。据博雅地名网，村中森林覆盖率在93%以上（未注年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网说，前人两次迁居此处开垦大片农田，定居创业，后人称此地为“新田”。[1]

解放前此地归铜江乡所辖，解放初划入江山区岭顶乡，1957年起改隶万山乡。1958年，新田为万山公社下的生产大队；1965年万山与江山合并，划入江山公社。1984年设立新田村民委员会，2011年7月属江山镇。[1]
