名称与沿革[edit]

村名里的「英勤」，意思是村民英勇勤劳，曾筑坝分流排涝。[1]1958年以前，它与水东、益华同属一个行政单位；起称英勤大队（1958年），改为英勤乡（1984年），称管理区（1989年），定名英勤村委会（1999年）。[1]
