石下村隶属水口镇。它在梅州市兴宁市境内，名称与沿革见下文。[1]
名称与沿革[edit]
此地本分上石、下石两片，中间隔着一条水圳，新中国成立后合称石下。[1]1978年单设大队，称石星，后来曾与官岭、东升联在一起；后重新分开（1983年），称石下管理区，改称石下村委会（1999年）。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2017年10月，石下村被广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予第一批广东省卫生村称号。[1]
