名称与沿革[edit]

据传最早在此定居的人姓宋，加上地处山区，原名「宋坑尾」，新中国成立后改称宋声。^[1]1962年从水口公社分出，设宋声公社，设宋声区（1983年），改宋声乡（1986年），称宋声村委会（1999年）；宋声镇撤销（2004年11月），归水口镇管辖。^[1]
