璜江村原属宋声镇，2004年起归水口镇。它在梅州市兴宁市境内，名称与沿革见下文。^[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

村子原叫「横岗」，村中有三道东西走向的山岗，「岗」与「江」读音近，公社化时改称璜江（1958年）。^[1]1999年成璜江村委会，宋声镇撤销（2004年11月），改归水口镇。^[1]

璜江村以油茶闻名，2020年8月入选省农业农村厅首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。^[1]
