博溪村原属下堡镇，2004年起归水口镇，位于镇中心区。它在梅州市兴宁市境内，名称与沿革见下文。^[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

教美、松陂两条河在村中交汇，「驳」字改用同音的「博」，成了博溪。^[1]1961年下堡与水口分设公社时设大队，称博溪乡（1985年），称村委会（1987年），称管理区（1993年），改称博溪村委会（1999年）。下堡镇撤销后（2004年11月），由水口镇管辖。^[1]

2019年9月，博溪村进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。^[1]
