名称与沿革[edit]

当地原有一处供奉「社官爷」的神坛，四周的人都来祭拜，官岭之名由此而起。^[1]它曾与石下、东升合并为井联乡，后重新分开（1984年），设官岭管理区，改称官岭村委会（1999年）。^[1]

2017年10月，官岭村获第一批广东省卫生村称号，授予单位为广东省爱国卫生运动委员会。^[1]
