名称与沿革[edit]
彭姓人最先在此落户，据传境内有99条山坑，其中11条地势低深，被称作「洞」，村名即由此而来。[1]1953年为彭洞农会，为初级社（1954年），为高级社（1956年），称彭洞大队（1958年）。分出勤光大队（1978年），分开后称彭洞乡（1984年），改称管理区（1987年），改为彭洞村委会（1999年）。[1]
