东兴村是广东省梅州市平远县大柘镇辖下的行政村，位于大柘镇的坝头片。据博雅地名网所载（未注明年份），村内分8个村民小组，登记346户、1284人，土地总面积6.69平方千米，耕地760亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：村子在东石河流向坝头的东岸，因此叫东兴。[1]

建制沿革，由近及远：1999年4月起称村民委员会至今；1989年称管理区；1987年称东兴村民委员会；1983年为乡；1958年为大队；七十年代曾合为一个行政村，其后再度分开；1949年称东兴乡；东兴原与东片同属一个大村。[1]

经济[edit]

主要经济作物有金柚、花生、大蒜和药材。[1]

荣誉：2019年9月进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
