杞园村是广东省梅州市平远县大柘镇辖下的行政村，位于大柘镇县城一带。据博雅地名网所载（未注明年份），村内分15个村民小组，登记705户、2495人，土地总面积3.83平方千米，耕地717亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：旧时村路两旁长着许多带刺的簕子树，用来编篱笆，村子因此叫「簕子园下」，解放后改称杞园；祖屋没有大门，又叫「坐咀厅下」。[1]
建制沿革，由近及远：1999年4月起称村民委员会至今；1989年称杞园管理区；1987年称杞园村民委员会；1983年称杞园（小）乡；1958年称杞园大队；1949年称杞园乡。[1]
经济[edit]
主要经济作物为蔬菜和甘蔗。[1]
荣誉：广东省爱国卫生运动委员会在2017年10月把它列入「第一批广东省卫生村」。[1]
