城东村是广东省江门市开平市苍城镇东北部的行政村，离镇区约4公里。因位于镇的东面而得名，东边与沙塘镇相接，其余三面分别是六合、旺岗、新村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域总面积8.1平方千米，共10条自然村，即杨屋、三马塘、旧东、新东、床元、骑龙、东明、东兴、西兴和一咀。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期，这里归开平县第一区城东乡；1949年之后先后划入十区城东乡。[1] 1956年曾归附城乡，1958年为苍城公社所辖，叫城东大队。[1] 1984年成立城东乡人民政府，1987年起称城东管理区，到1999年才改名城东村民委员会，一直沿用。[1]
经济[edit]
村里有450户、1599人（博雅地名网，未注年份）。村民主要种水果和水稻，劳动力富余的多出外经商、打工；2009年村集体经济收入86550元。[1] 2017年10月，村被评为第一批广东省卫生村。[1]
